Ingredients  


200g canned chickpeas
2 tbsp lemon juice or more to taste
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp ground cumin
Salt
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp cold pressed rapeseed oil
1 tsp paprika

Method


Drain the chickpeas and rinse.

Combine the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt and water in a food processor, and blend to a creamy purée.

Add more lemon juice, garlic, cumin or salt to taste. Turn out into a ramekin or dish and drizzle with cold pressed rapeseed oil.

Sprinkle with paprika and serve with a warm pita bread cut into quarters.
