
Braised lamb Shank, carrots and green beans on a rosemary & garlic mashed potato

Ingredients
2 x lamb shanks
Baby carrotsFine green beans
500g maris piper potatoes
Red wine and lamb stock
2 red onions
1 head of garlic
Rosemary & garlic oil
Method
1. using a slow cooker, brown the lamb shanks and then remove and set aside
2. to the pot add the onions, garlic and rosemary and garlic oil and sweat for 5 minutes3. add the lamb shanks and baby carrots to the pot along with the red wine and lamb stock
4. set on a low heat and cook for 4 hours
5. 45 minutes before the lamb is ready prepare your mashed potato.
6. 10 minutes before serving, blanch your green beans in salted boiling water
7. serve
